Excel autoformatting of rows

Would anyone be able to advise me on how to setup a macro for a excel spreadsheet or maybe even a better way of doing my desired result?

Basically I have a spreadsheet and all the rows have a column which is date recd and a column which is pending, I want the row to be highlighted in a different colour if the case is still marked as pending, 3 days after the date recd?

Can anyone think of a good way to do this?
