I'm trying to multiply the results of a vlookup by a another cell but it returns #VALUE.
=(VLOOKUP($O549,DB!$P$3:$Q$44,2,TRUE)) * A1
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
Steve

What does the result of the VLOOKUP only give.
i.e. =VLOOKUP($O549,DB!$P$3:$Q$44,2,TRUE)
What is in A1?
Where there is a will there are many ways.

Multiplying a number stored as text by another number (stored as text or not) should still yield the result... unless there really is text in the cell(s)
