I can't get rid of this problem. All the cells in the worksheets format have changed to currency. I've changed all the data fields back to what they should be but drilling down data on the pivot table produces worksheets where numbers and dates are in currency.

I've looked at the number dropdown under 'general' in the home tab and can't see anything wrong. Any ideas please?
