    to get rid of the first 4 characters in a cell

    Hi

    Say i have a column fill with xxx xxxx or xxx xxxxx. What function i can use to create a new column that can be without the first 4 characters?

    Try =RIGHT(A1, LEN(A1)-4)
    Never use Merged Cells in Excel
