    Unhappy H-LOOKUP/v-LOOKUP

    Hello guys,

I have created a tracking spreadsheet for inventory rentals, and it worked perfectly when i had the VLOOKUP and the unit numbers going horizontally down. However bosses wanted me to do the unit numbers for each rental lease going vertically. I cannot get either to work for more than one line because i think that the parameters state it pulls from the upper left most colum. Mine has 50 spaces for the unit numbers. is there a way to have it search for values that don't necessarily have to be pulled from the top left?? I can include an example if necessary

    Hello Jimmy,

You posted this in an "Outlook" forum - I've moved it to "Excel General"
