    Save 2003 workbook as 2007.

I have a workbook that was made on 2003 Excel, but I need the extra columns and rows of 2007-10 Excel. Is there a way to do this?

If not , how can I copy the whole workbook with its formulas into a 2007 workbook? I really don't want to have to start from scratch as it will take weeks to redo it.

    Thanks

Open your workbook in 2007 and save as xlsx (providing no macros)

Use can use .xlsm if you have macros in them or .xlsb with/without macros. From experience though, if the file is really big (>2mega) then you should use .xlsx or .xlsm, respectively or else the size will be bigger with .xlsb.

    Hope this helps.

I tried that at first, but in the options when saving the .xlsx file was not there. Subsequently I saved it as a .xlsm and it solved the problem.

    Cheers.
