    SUM= Gives Wrong Return

    I am attaching a sample entry - one of two in the actual w/book.

    The top entry is how it is used in the work book, but gives the wrong return.
    The bottom sample is with the entry "55" as a simple number and give the correct return.

    Can someone help me with this? Why are they different and how can I cure it?

    TIA for any suggestions.

    i4 =55.174 not 55
    you need to round in k4
    =ROUND(I4,0)*$J$4

    Thanks Martin. It works but I'm not sure why. Am I right in assuming in, (I4,0) the 0 is zero decimal places?
