Excel 2007 : auto-update date in specific cell

hi
there is prblem, i want to insert the last date written in a cell into a specific cell automatically,
1- Date column is D containing dates from starting of the month
2- A1 is cell in which last date from column D should automatically be inserted.

any code???
which helps me to to automatically copy the last entered date in column D and pastes it to cell A1,

This is easy, in whichever cell you want the value, just enter this -

=max(D:D)

If you get the answer in a number format, just change the format of the cell to date.
