How would I match the Position and Seat number with both tabs and on Tab called seat location under full name combine the first and last name from tab called names.

    Re: CONCATENATE function

Sorry - what is the "Seat" tab looking up on, seat number or position ... or are they both the same thing?

    Re: CONCATENATE function

They are the same thing but I want to do a check to see if there are the same, also I just need the Full name to appear since I have both names separated by first and last

    Re: CONCATENATE function

How are you checking that they're the same? Are you wanting to do a lookup on the Position field or are you just going to look for the seating number?

If you're just looking for the number then in cell C2 of the seat location sheet use the formula =VLOOKUP(B2,Names!$B$2:$D$5,2,FALSE) & " " & VLOOKUP(B2,Names!$B$2:$D$5,3,FALSE)

    Re: CONCATENATE function

I need to do a check on the Position and seat number(same as leader number on tab 2) the names list since sometimes the position and seat number is not going to be in the exact row

That's what it's doing - try swapping round two of the seat numbers to see this in action.
