Is it possible to make a graph's pillars change using a cell value?

This would be incredibly helpful as I'm making a workbook that is dependent on graphs, and at the moment I am having to enter change the fill color manually which as you can imagine , is not ideal.
I have been told I can do this using a macro, however it wasn't explained clearly enough for me to apply it to my set of data.

you can do this with additional data series and formula depending on the criteria for colour change.
