How to Improve a Budget Worksheet

The attached file is a budget worksheet which I would like to improve if possible

I never worked with Pivot Tables but I was thinking if I could make one, it may be easier to see at a glance my expenses

Do you have any suggestions for improvement?

Would a pivot table be more convenient?

Instead of columns summarising you would need an extra column in which you entered what the payment was for, then you could use a PivotTable. If you don't want that format then just set up a sheet that shows the totals for the item columns
