Excel Calculation Needed per 1000 occurrences

I would like a formula to calculate the number of infections per cases=1000 cases
for example, i have 4 infections out of 2600 cases. what is the formula to calculate the number for 1000 cases?

    Guess that would be:

    =(4/2600)*1000

    Maybe, to generalise: =(A2/B2)*1000 where A2 contains 4 and B2 contains 2600
