Is their a way to have a formula within a cell, so once you insert data into THAT cell it calculates the result.
for instance I receive 8 cases of widgets. Each case has 10 widgets. I want to be able to enter the number 8 into the cell (not the formula line), so the cell will then display 80 for the total number of widgets recieved.

Not without VBa, a cell can only have a value, or a formula, not both.
