Cannot get data movement percentage

Hello,
I have a sheet that contains 30 columns of data. I want to be able to have a new column 31 that will show the biggest movement between each column. i.e. columnA - columnB columnB-columnC columnC - columnD etc etc. in order to see how the data is changing & to highlight instances were the movement is large.
I would also like to show this as a percentage movement.
Can anyone help please?
It would be much appreciated.

e.g if the columns were

2 2 2 3 3 2 2 3 then the new column would be 1
2 2 15 15 15 12 12 12 then the new column would be 13
