Data validation drop down menus showing blanks

How do you get it so that when you create a drop-down menu using the data validation list function, that it only shows the values rather than including all the blank values as well?

So for example, if I have a list of forumlas with their results displayed, but some of those results are blanks; I only want it to show the actual formulas that produce a result rather than all the blanks as well.

    Hello,

when you use the List option in data validation, all cells in the range that you define as the list source will be included. If you want to exclude blanks from that list, then you need to create another range that shows only the non-blank cells.

This can be done with formulas, but in order to get more specific advice you would need to upload a sample file.

    cheers,

Did this thread that you have marked [SOLVED] not address this issue?
How do I remove "empty" cells in a range?

    Then continued, as requested, in
Lookup list needs to change with new sheet

You also seem to have other related threads ...
