    Advanced Conditional Formatting

    Hello,

I am trying to show month over month / year over year changes in an Excel sheet. I wish to use conditional formatting to show trends (the 5 arrow icon formatting preferred). I have attached an Excel sheet with the file I need help on.

I would want to attach a general rule whereby:

+15% or more = green up arrow
3>15% = yellow slightly up arrow
    -3>3 = yellow sideways arrow
-3>-15 = yellow slightly down arrow
-15 and lower = down arrow

This will need to work person by person. So for example in the first line.. Bob should be up green arrow in column C and slightly up yellow arrow in column E.

If anyone could let me know if this is possible / help me out that would be great.

    Thanks

Does anyone have any input on whether this is even possible?

    Chris,

Try using the conditional format on cells holding the percentages in Column D. Set the Values to 0.15, 0.03, -0.03 and the all Types to Number.
