Vlook up assistance

Hi,

I would like to do the following if at all possible please.

lookup b2, in datarange a, if its true, then look up value in a2 in datarange b but search for any of the string,(i.e want to look for Chris in christopher), if true return, if not then "Not applicable, if ORIGINAL LOOKUP FALSE, THEN RETURN, "NOT APPLICABLE"
