Macro to delete any rows in column ‘A’ which do not have a date in them

Hi.

Can any please advise me of the macro code I need to check all cells in column ‘A’ for any cells that do not contain a date and then delete them N.B. the dates (to keep) will be in the format dd/mm/yy

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Why a macro?
Can't you just filter out all dates in Column A, select all the rows in the result, delete them, then remove the filter?

what I'm trying to do is to fully automate the process as the list I recieve can be many thousands of row and this macro will be added to another macro which formats other coulmns/data etc
