Unique list Array Formula dependent of two criteria

    Hi guys,

Honestly, I'm not so great with array formulas. Kindly look at the attached. I'm trying to generate a unique list of employees that will have holiday days in any given month and group them by month. I was able to devise an array formula, but if you look at it, it only considers one criteria. I need it to consider both criteria, starting date and end date and not just the end date as it doing now.

What can I do guys? Look at the attached there is more info there.

    Thanks,

    Ron

Knowledge is knowing that a tomato and pepper are fruits. Wisdom is knowing whether to put these in a fruit salad

    Look at what I got.

I had to use a completely different formula thou, and it seems to work.

    Thank you very much Ron

    Hi Ron,

    I had a go.
Ended up with the same results via a completely different array formula.
Your solution is a shorter hence better solution.
I will study your's and learn something new.
    See attached.

    Hi Beau Nydal,

Not bad, at least you saw a window that I wasn't seeing in the my first try. It does the trick, so thank you for your suggestion. In reality the first part of the IF function (TEST part) of you both yours and mine is not so different. Mine is almost self explanatory, so you shouldn't have much issue following it.

Once again, thanks to all those that had a looksie at my headache..
