Excel 2007 : Weird "Enter a percentage" notification

Hi Guys,

I have created a status report template for the projects team at my company there is just one incredibly annoying thing that is bugging me.

As you can see from the attachment many cells when selected present a notification box "enter a percentage" even though the cell is General formatted. No matter what I do I cannot seem to get rid of the box.

Anyone seen this before / know how to get rid of it?

It looks like someone has set Data Validation on the cell.

Go to Data|Validation when that cell is active to see the rules set. You will find that message in the Input Message tab and the rules in the Settings tab.

Aha! solved!

Thanks very much, now all I need to do is track down the culprit who has been meddling with it! Wish I would have asked sooner, could have spared me pulling my hair out.

Click Go Advanced
Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
Change to Solved
Click Save
