Excel 2007 : Removing Apostrophes

Dear All,

I am trying to remove all apostrophes (') from the data in column B in the attached sheet (for eg Cell B16 has the word - Field's - which should read as - Fields - once the apostrophe is eliminated).

I have tried changing the cell format to text and using the find & replace but it does not detect the apostrophes. Copying this data into another instance of excel and doing the same seems to work, however I need to be able to do this in the same sheet / workbook.

Could anyone please suggest a remedy.
