Angry Insert row with merged cells

I'm trying to figure a way out how to insert a row and maintain the same merged rows. example: I have a row where colums "G" and "H" were merged. When I right click to insert a row above "G" and "H" are not merged. I have to manually merge them for every insert command I do. Is there a shortcut or a selection some where for this. I don't want to use a macro as this is not for myself and the users using the form will not be adept with Excel.

    Hi irishlad,

The problems created by merged cells gets worse and worse. My suggestion is to figure out how to not use merged cells. I believe this will save you lots of time now and in the future.

Re: Insert row with merged cells

    Hello Irishlad,

That's pretty simple......select and copy the whole row with the merged cell. now with the whole row selected right click and select "Insert Copied Cells". u will get your merged cells in the row above.

    Regards,
    Saurav
