I'm trying to link an Access 2007 query to Excel. I'm following this process:

In Excel Data  Get External Data  From Access  Browse to C:\CA  Select CA Clarify Production  Click Test Connection to make sure your connection is valid  Click OK  Select the query you wish to use to update your spreadsheet  Click OK  In the Import Data dialog box click OK (leave defaults view as table and existing worksheet)

When I do this the column headings from the query are brought in but none of the records. The query runs fine in Access but this process only gives me the column headings. Even after I refresh I still have no data populated.

What am I doing wrong?
