I have one workbook that the copy from cell above shortcut, ctrl+' (apostraphe), wont work. When I try to use it in the one particular workbook it brings up a cursor to start typing in the current cell. Any help is apperciated.
I have one workbook that the copy from cell above shortcut, ctrl+' (apostraphe), wont work. When I try to use it in the one particular workbook it brings up a cursor to start typing in the current cell. Any help is apperciated.
The two most plausable explainations I can think of are;
1. The CNTRL button is not working properly (but you are sure it works on that same computer with other spreadsheets)? Have you tested this spreadsheet on different computers?
2. There's a macro which is either assigned to that shortcut (CNTRL + ') or is interferring with it. Any macros in your spreadsheet? Can you check their shortcuts? Any event driven macros?

substitute commas with semi-colons if your region settings requires

I have tested the sheet on multiple computers. There aren't any macros in the whole sheet. The ctrl key is working properly because I can use it to do other shortcuts, just not ctrl + ' on this one sheet. It works in all of my other sheets.
