    Question 9.99E+307 What does this mean

    Hi,

    I am pretty much new to excel and found 9.99E+307 used in several formulas. can someone pls advise what is the significance and use.

    e.g =IFERROR(LOOKUP(9.99E+307,SEARCH($BC$55:$BC$60,$G515),$BC$55:$BC$60)," ")

    Hello,

    it's the largest number that Excel can store. This "Big number" is used to look up the last number in a range.

    What are you trying to achieve with the formula?
