Count the Occurrence Based on a Date

Hi there,

I need a formula to count the number of occurrences of recordings based on a date. For example, how many recordings were made on 8/9/11. So the answer is 3.

8/9/11 10:35 AM recording7
8/9/11 10:38 AM recording2
8/9/11 10:38 AM recording6
8/9/11 10:38 AM
8/9/11 10:38 AM
8/10/11 10:38 AM recording1
8/11/11 10:38 AM recording2
8/12/11 10:38 AM recording2
