Trim Left With a Date

In the attached workbook, I am trying to do a formula that essentialls says if the date in column A is January return the value in column B, otherwise return 0, blank space, ect doesnt matter. I was trying "trim(left(" but I dont think that is the right approach as that deals with text rather then dates. Thanks
