Hey Experts,
So I'm using a system from SAP called BPC (Business, Planning & Consolidations).
When refreshing data, the system will re-populate specific cells based on data in the server.
I've built an excel template that I want my users to use when they develop business plans. I want to lockdown the cells that are set by me (I upload them to the server and their reports pull the new data). Another thing, is that I do not want any users to be able to edit the formulas that pull data from the server.
So, I've unlocked cells that I want users to be able to edit, and left the rest as locked.
However, the system will literally push new "hardcoded" numbers to fields when the data refreshes (in cells that I do not want users to edit).
Is there a way to allow "access" to certain cells for the system and disallow users from being able to edit those cells, but at the same time allow them to fully edit cells I want to allow?
Thanks in advance!
