1.In my Date field I enter : January 05, 2005 and formatted it to appear as 01/05/2005 mm/dd/yyyy things worked well. But when i compare this field with a field in a different file with similar dates it shows my date as 1/5/2005

HOW DO I MAKE MY DATE APPEAR THE SAME AS I FORMAT IN OTHER PROGRAMS AS WELL CAN I MAKE SOMETHING LIKE STATIC.

2. In my second field also same with different format e.g. : January 05, 2005 and i wanted it to be Jan 05 (leaving the day field off) Mmm yy. In excel it looks same. but when i compare the same as above happens.
