Automatic totals for drop-down answer cells

We have created a report form in Excel with 200 entry rows. Several of the columns have drop-down answers. Most of these are Yes/No and a couple are Same/Less/More. Is there a way to run automatic totals on the columns with drop-down answers (e.g. total number of responses for "Yes", "No", "Same", "Less", "More")?

If you have a drop down box where you can choose the different options "yes, no etc" the cell showing the result would have a countif formula, = countif ( your range of results , the cell location of the drop down box ie "F3" ) -
