Talking Lookup values have to be ascending?

Hello all first time forum user here. Im just trying to make a relatively simple cash counter for my badminton club and am having a little bit of trouble with the lookup function.
In sheet1 row 1 i was putting in some Test dates in there to see if the formula i have on sheet2 c7-16 was working. i noticed that if the date on the right in sheet1 row1 1 is lower than the date on the left it will only display the results from the furthest right column in c7-16 on bank printout. this shouldnt really pose a problem as i plan on having them in time order but just wondering if this is normal and if theres anyway to fix it.
Secondly, a much simpler question if for example i have the formula (b4*c4) and i drag to fill is there a simple way to make it stay as b4*c4 then b4*c5 then b4*c6. for now i just renamed the box b4 and that seems to stop it from changing to a different one
    Cheers
    James

    Edit
    Sheet 1 is Cash Count
    Sheet 2 is Bank Printout

    The answer for #2: =$B$4*C4
The '$' (anchor) causes the following column or row to stay fixed.
For the first, you reference Sheet 1 and Sheet 2 but your workbook has no tabs with those names...
