Hi,
I have a sheet with multiple columns and I want to colour code the rows in a certain way. Here's an example of the sheet:
Code Qty Want Colour
AAA 5 RED
AAA 7 RED
BBB 8 BLUE
BBE 2 RED
BBF 3 BLUE
BBF 4 BLUE

As you see, on change of code in colA, the format background colour changes, so the first 2 are red as they are the same code, then code BBB goes to blue as it differs from AAA, then BBE differs from BBB so the colour changes again.... alternating colour as the code changes. How can this be achieved with conditional formatting please as I cannot seem to generate formulas or additional columns that give me a good result?
