I have a person that was off from 1/3/11 to 2/8/11. How do I use a formula to get how many days excluding weekends. The person was out 36 days but 10 of the days were weekends.
I have other people under different dates also, so main question what formula would i use to figure out the days only and not weekends.
How about:
If this function is not available, and returns the #NAME? error, install and load the Analysis ToolPak add-in.
=NETWORKDAYS(A1,B1)

Plz, using NETWORKDAYS function to deal it
=NETWORKDAYS(A1,B1)
where A1 contains start date , B1 contains end date
