    Protecting Sheet

How do you protect the sheet with a password that you never have to change.
I want a constant password that will be the same every time you unlock it.

    Thanks in advance

    Re: Protecting Sheet

If you unlock the sheet at anytime it will no longer be protected, there will no longer BE a password in place.

Is your question correct? Did you need to add more?

    Re: Protecting Sheet

I want to be able to lock it with a password then if I need to send it to someone i can give them the password to unlock it and change things. But then if I do that they can enter a new password. I want the password to stay constant each time it is unlock only the same pw can unlock it again next time

    Re: Protecting Sheet

Once the sheet is unprotected, the password is gone. The user will be able to pretty much do what they want at that point. You should UNLOCK the cells you want your users to be able to "change" so the rest of the sheet can stay protected.
