I have created a bar graph with percentages on the Y axis. I would like to display the actual values (that this percentage was calculated from) next to each individual bar, how to do this?
Many thanks,
Brandon

and by the way I'm actually using Excel 2007
Can you upload a dummy spreadsheet showing how your data is laid out?

How can I attach a excel doc? Basically what it is is two table. one that Counts projects that happen +/- 0-10% estimate from bid, +/- 10-20% estimate from bid, >+/-20% estimate from bid, in various regions. The next table, which im getting my data from to graph it, shows the percentages of those counts for each +/- 0-10% estimate from bid, +/- 10-20% estimate from bid, >+/-20% estimate from bid. So for example I might have 40% of projects +/- 0-10% estimate from bid, and my graph shows that since the y-axis is labelled percentages, but i want to able to be label each individual bar with the specific number of projects that that 40% encompasses.
I hope that helps to explain the situation...
Anyone? - its important
Use this addin to link data labels to cells.

did you not understand the question? - I'm not labelling based on the range of data that i'm pulling from. The range I'm pulling from is pulling from another data that has Counts that i need to be used as labels, which are vital in expressing the meaningfulness of the percents (but I need the y-axis to be in percents from the the range that the graph is pulling from).....but like I said, I figured it out. You just have to go a round about way of doing it because excel hasn't addressed it directly.
perhaps you did understand the implictation of the addin.
It allows you to display any information in the data label, not just the series or category name or the value.
but hey if you solved your problem then great!
Nvm , I figured it out...excel doesn't make it easy though, this is something that needs to be fixed
