    Probability

Hi all, hope you can help with my tiny brain. I am trying to work out the probability of a number of outcomes happening at the same time. For example:

scenario A occurs 10% of the time
scenario B occurs 20% of the time
scenario C occurs 15% of the time.

Using excel how can i calculate the probability of all 3 scenarios occuring on the same day?

    thanks in advance

    jc

    Re: Probability

    Wouldn't that be: 0,1*0,2*0,15 = 0,003 (0,3%)?
Never use Merged Cells in Excel

    Re: Probability

Just multiply them up if they are independent events.
