Show blank cell in countif = 0

    Hi there,

Long time reader first time post-er

I am having some trouble and was wondering if someone could help me.

I am trying to show as a % the number of test cases are completed each day.

There are 176 rows and I have a column called 'Date Comp.'

currently I have a formula =COUNTIF(E:E,"8/08/11")/176 which outputs the correct value when there is data for 08/08/11.

I would like to update this to include the situation where if there is no date, then the cell to display as BLANK instead of 0.00%.

    Thanks in advance

    Matt

Take out the extra = in the middle.

You can also just leave your basic formula in there like it is now. Then go to Tools > Options >VIEW > [ x ] Zero Values and uncheck that. Zero values won't show at all on that sheet after that, no need for all the extra formulas.
