    Formula Help

I am looking to write a formula in the "Data" tab of my spreadsheet (attached) beside the associated team name in column B that looks at "Sheet1" and references column E and F and returns the total points a team has.

So for example if Sheldon has 5 players in the Top 100 it would add up the points in column F and return that number back to the "Data" tab in column B beside the associated team.

Hope that makes sense.....Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Re: Formula Help

Try using SUMIF, i.e. use this formula in B1 copied down

    =IF(A1="","",SUMIF(Sheet1!E:E,A1,Sheet1!F:F))
    Audere est facere

I copied it in and didn't seem to get the right numbers? Some even had 0.

    Re: Formula Help

It works for me but the spelling needs to be consistent, e.g. "Shelton" should be "Sheldon"?
