My home mac is updated (and the same issue was happening on my office mac, which also is updated regularly by the IT staff).

But, there is an update. Now, when I open this particular file, the update feature is working without a problem. (As a test, I created another sheet with random data, and now all the graphs update on command.)

However, I do have a complicated file that uses matrix formulas at work. I know that that file didn't work after multiple times being opened and close. I will see if the problem persists with that file and attach tomorrow).
