    cell colour change

    Could anyone please tell me how I can get a date in a cell to change from green to red when over 12 months old from current date
    A novice excel user so any advice welcome - thanks

    let you date is in cell # B6

    in conditional formationg, choose use a formula to determine which cell to format

    paste =(TODAY()-B6)>364 and choose formate. Copy paste the formate on all the required range

    Look here...

    Formula used in Conditional Formatting is: =TODAY()+365<D1

    If you don't mind one day difference on the leap years.
