I have a spreadsheet where the user can enter free form comments into cells and then need to tick a check box so their comment appears on a letter. Some users are typing text in but not ticking the check box so is it possible to auto tick the box or change the control cell to true as soon as data is entered into the free format cell:

e.g. free format cell is K26, Control cell is BU26, i need the control cell to change to true as soon as any data is entered into K26

I assume i could write and if statement in the cell adjoining BU26 which would alter FALSE TO TRUE but have tried and cant get it to work
