formatting in forumula

Hi,

I have the following formula:

=A1&IF(A1=1," error for a volume of "," errors for a volume of ")&A2

The values in A1 and A2 are follows: 0 and 1,000,000 respectively.

I get the following result

"0 errors for a volume of 1000000"

My question is, how do I get the "1000000" to appear with camma separator? I have tried formatting A2 but that doesn't do anything.
