I have one user in our company who is no longer able to open Excel files from one specific folder on our our network. He is able to open the Word documents in that folder and can open Excel files in other directories. He is also able to copy the files in question from the network directory to his local "My Documents" and open the files and work on them. It is only when those Excel files are out on the network that he is not able to open them.

I've tried renaming the files, moving them to other network directories, creating new network directories and saving them there and splitting the workbook up into multiple files by copying and pasting the contents of each tab onto tabs in new files/workbooks. Nothing seems to work.

Does anyone have any suggestions
