    Change Date to display Month/Year

    Hey Guys,

I know this is probably pretty easy.

I know how to take a date right click format cells and change it so instead of displaying the traditional 1/1/2011 it will display Jan-11.

My question is this, is it possible to make the month/year to be static. As of now when I change the formatting it will still show the real date in the function display. What happens is when I copy and paste this data into an automated worksheet it reverts back to the general date (1/1/2011). I then have to go through and manually change all of the formats to reflect the Month/Year format. This takes a bit more time, and obviously the possibility of forgetting to change all formats.

    Any Ideas?
