VLOOKUP - Hyperlinks

Simple question, but can't figure this out with my formats.

Have a large database with one of the columns housing company web sites. When I draw from that database using VLOOKUP onto a report, the web site shows up, but the link is not active (but is active in the database)

I need to figure out how to keep this link active since the report is converted into a PDF and emailed to clients. I have looked at the HYPERLINK function, but it seems as if I would have to manually type in the address (i.e. it can't look at a cell value and convert it)
