A quick additional comment. When you highlight for conditional formatting, look out for the cell with focus - it's the one that's a slightly different colour than the rest. If highlighting B:L, then it'll be B1; if highlighting in the other direction (L:B, selects same range and shows as B:L), then it'll be L1.
The formula you write is applied to the cell with focus and relative references change from there, so grizzly6969's formula is perfect if you highlight from B to L as indicated! Just watch out for the cell with focus - it's caught me out before!
