How are the users selecting the time increment (d/h/m/s)? Are they typing it in the same cell as the number, e.g.

    14 hours 8 minutes 32 seconds

Or are they typing a number in one cell and selecting a time increment from another? Or are you using a user form? Or ActiveX objects? Or....?

I assume this is all occuring in a single cell (let's say A2)?
How does Excel know that the user is entering seconds, minutes, hrs, etc?
So if the user enters 23, is that minutes or hours? is there a second cell which has the units in it?
