    Data Validation and Pasting

    Dear all

What is the simpliest way to stop data validation not working when data is pasted into the data validation cell?

    Thanks.

    Re: Data Validation and Pasting

If you want to take your time you can Paste Special.

You can paste as values if you want the values of the data pasted or Formulas if you just want to copy the formulas and not the formats. You do that by copying the source range, then go to the destination range and right click and select Paste Special
