Hello Excel Gurus.
This has been the most incredible Excel week of my life. I have been using Excel since the early 90s but have only been using it for math. This week I have been using it in a completely different format...modifying databases.
My problem is with a CSV database. I created a macro (first time with this too...amazing!) to move, change, clean, trim, and much more. It takes 2.5 minutes to run but what it changes the database into is phenomenal.
I am using the data to create Wordpress pages using a datafeed program (by importing the csv and mapping the column to fields). Everything works except one thing. The first record is imported flawlessly. After that, all the other records are fine except the first field...when it is merged into the html template, there magically is a <br /> added before the first field's data (shown on the resulting Wordpress post that is created).
Can someone please look at the data and see what the heck I am missing? I miss my wife and children as this has been haunting me for over 5 days now. I trouble shot the program with clean dummy data...it's fine. It is only the first field that is reflecting the issue. The error could be somewhere else but this is the only field that seems to be affected.
Thank you for your help (if you can help). Happy Father's Day to the dads that read this today.
Cheers!
John
