Hyperlinking whole page rather than individual cell

Hi Guys,

I have created a hyperlink on a sheet in a single cell, the cell is titled "INDEX". The hyperlink links back to an index page. I have done this a thousand times before with no issues simply by right clicking the mouse, selecting hyperlink and linking it to the relevant sheet in the workbook.

The cells in the sheet are locked apart from the cell that is hyperlinked so when the sheet is protected you can still select the hyperlink.

Issue -

When I lock the sheet, rather than just the hyperlink linking back to the index page anywhere I click on the sheet links back and I cant seem to solve it.

Any help, as usual greatly, appreciated

Please post a workbook that illustrates the problem with instructions so that the problem can be re-created and don't forget to tell us the password!

Given that your users are only allowed to look at the locked sheet, here is a different way to using a hyperlink

Lock ALL cells on the worksheet (this macro does not select a cell) and...

Put this code behind a button on sheet "Index":
